Final Fantasy XIV Guide Review

Final Fantasy XIV Conjurer

The Conjurer can summon up a storm, literally. Conjurers, disciples of magic, can harness the power of nature and focus them into a creating spells. The main home and origin of the Conjurer is in Stillglade Fane of Gridania. Conjurer utilizes wands and canes in order to create magical spells that are intended to disrupt an enemy.

Conjurer is primarily a damage dealing class. Within a party, their job is to help finish the enemy up. Their spells are powerful, but can usually only be used against one target, unlike a FFXIV Thaumaturge‘s spells.

Abilities:

  • Profundity: Builds up magic attack power for one spell.
  • Trance Chant: Builds up magic attack for one cast.
  • Roaming Soul: Allows Conjurer to move while casting.
  • Purge: Alters the targets elemental to neutral, nullifying weaknesses and strengths.

Conjurer Spells:

Tranquility- Casts spell which recovers MP of self. Ex- When mana points run out, this spell is helpful for a quick restoration.
Fire- Fire damage on target. Ex: Use on green elemental targets.
Blizzard- Ice damage on target. Ex: Use on ground elemental targets.
Thunder- Electric damage on target. Ex: Use on water elemental targets.
Water- Water damage on target. Ex: Use on fire elemental targets.
Stone- Earth damage on target. Ex: Use on lightning elemental targets.
Aero- Wind damage on target. Ex- Use on earth elemental targets.
Cure- Cures health on target. Ex- When party members or self is damaged, requiring healing.
Stoneskin- Casts protective stone shield on self. Ex- Reduce damage when under physical attack.
Repose- Renders enemies within area of effect immobile. Ex- Good for when fleeing targets or when wanting to fight from a long distance.
Shock Spikes- Casts protective electric shield on self which damages enemies. Ex- Good for defense coverage when initiating physical combat on target.
Burn- Causes long term fire damage per second on multiple targets in area of effect. Ex- Useful when needing to engage multiple plant elemental targets.
Frost- Causes long term ice damage per second on multiple targets in area of effect. Ex- Useful when needing to engage multiple ground elemental targets.
Drown- Deals Water damage over time to multiple targets within area of effect. Ex- Can be useful when multiple Fire based attackers are engaged.
Rasp- Deals Earth damage over time to multiple targets within area of effect. Ex- Can be useful when multiple lightning based targets are engaged.
Choke- Causes Wind damage over time to enemies within area of effect. Ex- Can be useful when multiple earth based targets are engaged.
